The development and production of fuel dispensers in my country started relatively late. It wasn't until the 1960s and 1970s that cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Qingdao began developing and producing fuel dispensers, marking the beginning of the development of the fuel dispenser industry. In 1971, Shanghai successfully developed my country's first fuel dispenser, the Xia 71-1. Subsequently, Changkong Factory launched the T74 fuel dispenser in 1973. Before 1986

Before 1986, my country primarily produced mechanical wheel-type counter fuel dispensers. However, with technological advancements, from 1986 to 1996, mechanical wheel-type counter fuel dispensers began to coexist alongside computer-based fuel dispensers. Ultimately, after 1996, mechanical wheel-type counter fuel dispensers were gradually phased out, and domestic production became almost exclusively computer-based.

In 1984, the national metrology administration clearly stipulated that fuel dispensers were required to undergo mandatory calibration. Subsequently, in 1986, my country formulated its first gas dispenser metrology and calibration standard, JJG 443-1986. This standard provided solid legal support for protecting consumer rights and provided a clear basis for evaluating the quality of gas dispensers. Since then, the standard has been revised several times, including JJG 443-1998, JJG 443-2006, and the latest JJG 443-2015.
